Hi Stephen-

I haven't re-read it, but I think the Morawski essay I posted on the 
micrsound server/project repository, "ArtisticValue.pdf" covers 
essentially the same territory as his _Fundamentals of Aesthetics_.

And it ends with a brief discussion of the Eco book!
