well folks, 2019 has begun, and we're back! we're starting the year off 
with a wintry mix that we've been listening to over and over for several 
days now - a final offering for 2018 from framework's favorite discovery 
of the year, manja ristić, an accidental look back to 2005 (we thought 
it was a new album - 'wow, it's the return of his classic sound!' we 
thought - but it turned out to be an archive work just newly offered on 
bandcamp) by longtime favorite yannick dauby (the second track in our 
playlist in collaboration with michael northam), a new collaboration by 
old friends howard stelzer and frans de waard, some experimental 
documentary by out first new name of 2019, annika moses, and the 
continuation of our ongoing foray into recent listener-chosen favorites 
from the aporee maps.

i myself have been making more of an effort to contribute my own 
recordings to the aporee maps over the last few weeks, and i've started 
a collection (via facebook) of my one-a-day (give or take)

again, we are always looking for new material, whether raw field 
recordings, field recording based composition, or introduction 
submissions. we are also now accepting proposals for full editions of
