[microsound] Work on sorting out upload issues still ongoing

Oh, sorry: the github links per se are irrelevant, I think, since surely
we're near to GPL something as an infrastructure.

I find myself tucking things in there that either I a) want or 2) need to
be there in 20-40 .. years (?)
