*#352: 2011.11.20*

greetings from maribor, and the *kiblix festival*, where i've been
giving a workshop with /*radio aporee*/'s *udo noll*. it's been great,
particularly meeting our new friends from *radio marš* and croatian
*free radio*. meanwhile, the show must go on: this is the 3nd in a
series of programs produced by the participants of the /*field-recording
and creative radio*/ workshop which took place at the *digital media
centre* at south hill park, uk, in october 2010. this edition, /*do they
move you?,*/ has been produced by *thea stallwood*. for more information
see www.digitalmediacentre.org, or http://www.theastallwood.com. from
the producer:

    *Do They Move You?*

    Come follow me.
    Yes?
    What convinced you?
My automated voices? My inanimate bleep? My roars of traffic or
    angering of flocks of birds?

The sounds of the city manouvering us about, from here, to there,
like cattle led by the nose.

/'Do I move you, are you willin'...?
Do I move you, are you loose now?
The answer better be yes, yes.
    It pleases me.'/

As ever, Nina Simone, is scathingly succinct.

again, we are always looking for material for the show, whether raw
field recordings, field recording based composition, or introduction
submissions. we are also now accepting proposals for full editions of
our guest curated /*framework:afield*/ series. send proposals or
material, released or not, on any format, to the address below. if you
have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
