framework - phonography/field recording; contextual and decontextualized sound activity
presented by patrick mcginley

this edition aired already two weeks ago, but due to some technical overhauls in the resfm studios we've had the subsequent couple of weeks off. this was a sample edition of our new series, framework:afield, which will be airing every second week starting in may, and will feature guest produced shows from around the world. the first official edition will air on the 5th of may, and is being produced in new york city by american sound artist and curator ben owen (http://seasonalbk.net). this edition, however, was produced here in london by andrew jacques, and featured an interweaved single hour of sounds by walter marchetti. release details below.

tonight we will be joined in the studio by austrian sound and installation artist bernhard gal, who will be presenting a number of his composition works from 1999 to the present, as well as performing a live set in the resonancefm studios. tune in if you can!

again, we are always looking for material for the show, whether raw field recordings, field recording based composition or introduction submissions. send material, released or not, on any format, to the address below. we are also hoping to have live performances as often as possible, so if you are in or passing through london please get in touch!
