STEIM Lecture by Derek Holzer

Sound and media artist Derek Holzer will give a presentation of several
projects related to field recording, with a focus on the use of free
software, open content licenses and interactive technology to create
collaborative systems and shared soundscapes. This presentation is part
of a residency at STEIM for the development of the panDEV project, which
aims to create a portable, location-aware, automatic field recording
device for artists and other researchers of sound and space. Projects
discussed will include:
