#500! 2015.02.22
listen to this edition here:
http://www.frameworkradio.net/2015/02/500-2015-02-22/

well folks, this is it. the big one. after almost 13 years on the air,
we've reached our 500th edition. we can't quite believe it, as it seems
like just yesterday we were celebrated #250, but here we are, older,
wiser, and ready for 500 more. we can't thank you enough for continuing
to listen after all these years. we couldn't do it without you!

our framework500 celebrations will stretch over 3 shows, and with these
three shows we'll be listening to all the the works that have been so
generously donated by their creators so that we can publish our new
3-disc celebratory framework500 release. we invited the artists from our
very first release, framework250, from back in 2009, to return with a
new work for this new landmark, and these works are being published on
another exquisitely packaged compilation, with recordings of the sleeve
production process itself, all due to reach you, dear listener, by the
end of march. the release page is now online, so you can read artist and
track notes, look at pretty pictures, and hear more about the process of
creating this glorious object. and then, when you just can't resist any
longer, you can click the shiny yellow DONATE button on the right, enter
a sun equivalent to 40€ or more, and get your name on the pre-orders
list, with all the other true-blue framework lovers.

what's more, if you're one of the first 50 people to reserve your copy,
you will receive our extra special early adopters thank you package, a
whole pile of goodies from our participating artists, including, but not
limited too, a framework500 badge from felicity ford, a unique drawing
from maria balabas, a screen-printed sticker from ben owen, and a
handwritten thank you note from yours truly. go and peruse the details,
you know you want to:

http://www.frameworkradio.net/framework500

to accompany our celebratory tracks over these special shows, we've
chosen as well to highlight (again) our other favorite project, the
aporee soundmaps (http://aporee.org). all the other recordings featured
during our fraemwork500 celebrations are listener favorites culled from
the maps; there are direct links to all the locations in the playlist
below. if you aren't familiar with aporee already, we highly recommend
you go and have a look and a listen, and maybe even contribute some
recordings yourself.

again, we are always looking for new material, whether raw field
recordings, field recording based composition, or introduction
submissions. we are also now accepting proposals for full editions of
our guest curated framework:afield series. send proposals or material,
released or not, on any format, to the address at the bottom of this
mail. if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
