[Composition 00068 is in five parts, and is based on sounds from a short film, Niski przelot - Poznań Ławica (Low pass at Poznan Airport) showing a light aircraft taking off from Poznan airport, flying around the city, and returning to land. There was a camera and microphone attached to the tip of one of the wings, and different sounds are heard as the plane made different manoeuvres. Even though the original sounds went through a number of production processes, including granular sampling, the sounds are still fairly recognisable as coming from a plane. However, it should be considered that the sounds and noises for this composition could have been produced by using synthesis, for example, from square waves mixed with white noise, and that the project had been entirely faked and the listener duped. There is a certain about of cynicism in this, and it needs to be remembered that not only can sounds be entirely transformed by virtuosic displays of sampling and other production techniques, that anything can be changed into something else, but it can also be the case that the sound-source for a project could be a fictitious one. This creates something of a philosophical conundrum and raises questions concerning authenticity. Is it, or is it not, true?]

[Composition 00069 is in three parts, and is based on a single metal ‘seed’ sound that has been mutated and transformed through different production processes. The texture of the composition changes from part to part, with different levels of density. The music, especially in parts one and two, is ominous and oppressive.]

[Composition 00070 is in three parts, and uses two simple elements, a tone in C-1, and the same tone, but an octave lower, at C-2. The first sound, C-1, gets longer as the composition progresses, in part one it is two bars, in part two it is four, and in the final part three it is six bars long. The second sound, C-2, enters after the first as a kind of ‘answer’. A different question is asked each time, but the response is always the same. The answer could be ‘Yes,’ or ‘No’, or ‘I don’t know’, or even a nihilistic, ‘I don’t care’.]
