*#373: 2012.04.29*

this is the 2nd edition in our *spring 2012 fundraising drive* and
special look at our new release, /*framework:seasonal ::: spring 2012*/.
we may seem to be harping on about it a bit, but we really hope to
remind people that /*framework*/ can't exist without listener support,
and hope that they will find the program a worthwhile enough endeavour
to consider supporting with a small donation or regular subscription. we
have consciously shunned any advertising or sponsorship, or charging
stations or listeners for our podcasts, but we can't do this for free.
hundreds of people listen to the show each week, and if each of them
would sign up to give 1€ /per month/ (ie, nearly nothing) we could
finally make framework a full-time project, not to mention that we could
then stop hassling you all several times a year in search of donations.
please, if you enjoy the show, if you value it as a platform as an
artist or as a listener, consider making a one-time or regular donation,
of 20€, 10€, 5€, even /1€/ per month. every little bit helps.

and of course if your donation is for 18€ or more, or an equivalent
subscription commitment, we'll send you the new /*framework:seasonal :::
spring 2012*/ compilation, featuring 9 great works donated to
/*framework*/ by the artists for this fundraising project. we listened
to three of these tracks in this latest program, by *dave phillips*,
*aymeric de tapol*, and *anton mobin*. these share space on the release
with works by *jd zazie*, *sala*, *james wyness*, *camilla hannan*,
*pali meursault*, and *lasse-marc riek*. we think it has come out
sounding great, more that just a collection of great tracks, but tracks
that work together to form a whole that is greater than the sum of it's
parts - complexity, intricacy, and delicacy all in the right measure.
check it out!

these tracks were accompanied by more great works from a few artists new
to our airwaves, the london-based project *hanetration*, and the
japanese artist *eisuke yanagisawa*'s focus on ultrasonic sounds. also
sounds from longtime supporter and regular contributor *ernst karel*,
from his collaboration with *annette krebs*, and a /*framework*/
introduction recorded for us by another longtime contributor, *neil
griffith*.

again, we are always looking for material for the show, whether raw
field recordings, field recording based composition, or introduction
submissions. we are also now accepting proposals for full editions of
our guest curated /*framework:afield*/ series. send proposals or
material, released or not, on any format, to the address below. if you
have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
