Programming with Max For Live - Beginners workshop @ NK/ Berlin

Max for Live is a collaboration between Cycling '74 and Ableton. With Max for Live you can create synthesizers, sequencers, MIDI or audio effects and more exotic things that work just like other Live devices. This workshop will start at the very beginning so no prior knowledge of Max is necessary (but a basic knowledge of Ableton Live will be helpful).

The workshop will be held in English and German.

Requirements:
* Own Computer (Mac OS X/Windows) IMPORTANT: with an authorised Max For Live (Max 5.1.8 and Live 8.2.2), or a running Demo (visit this link to download a 30-Days demo:

* Basic knowledge in computer based music creation
* Headphones
* If possible bring your own MIDI Controller/Keyboard (plus iPhone/Android-based Phone, iPad/Android-based Pad, Lemur, wii, joystick,...)

Teacher: Pure has been using Max since the last ten years as his main tool for music creation. As well as being an experienced Max instructor who has taught in Universities and Media Labs all over Europe since 2001, he is has also released many albums with such labels as Mego, Crónica and Staalplaat.
