*274: 2010.03.07

*a rather dense regular edition this week with some great textures and
contrasts, and several free-to-download mp3 releases. *mysterybear*'s
elementally-themed release (available free from *stasisfield* - see
links below) contrasted nicely with *daniel menche*'s reworked
recordings of waterfalls, and *richard garet*'s fine textures
complimented *dario moratilla*'s self-released percussive soundfields
(available directly from his blog - again, link below). we also heard
sounds from *irr. app. (ext.)*'s latest offering on the always
intriguing *helen scarsdale agancy*, and a /*framework */introduction
recorded for us by *diemo schwarz*.

another announcement this week - framework has a lot of listeners, and
we like to consider ourself a community effort, so we'd like to extend
and offer our voice further for announcements. we're unsure exactly how
we will structure this (it depends largely on your reaction), but we
would like to be able to present our listeners with information on
upcoming events, projects, opportunities, etc. we will likely not be
able to announce individual gigs or releases, but events that people
might be willing to travel for, calls for contributions or projects from
new labels, conferences, etc, etc. if you have some field-recording
related news that your trying to get out there, let us know and we'll
see what we can do...

again, we are always looking for material for the show, whether raw
field recordings, field recording based composition, or introduction
submissions. we are also now accepting proposals for full editions of
our guest curated series. send proposals or material, released or not,
on any format, to the address below. if you have any questions, please
don't hesitate to get in touch!
