Gregory Büttner and Rhodri Davies met in Hamburg in April 2006 and decided
to collaborate.
The basis of this recording is a ten minute harp improvisation by Davies. On
his return to London, Davies sent his piece to Büttner, who digitally
processed and edited it to three different tracks.
CD released by Anthropometrics (hosted by aufabwegen) as a limited edition
of 300 copies.

Duo Birgit Ulher & Gregory Büttner, 3²CDR released by 1000füssler
/ trumpet / speakers / mutes / computer /
Gregory Büttner plays sounds from a computer through various small speakers,
which Birgit Ulher uses as mutes for her trumpet. This way the trumpet
sounds and the electronically created or processed sounds are modulated by
the acousticresonance chamber of the trumpet. The trumpet is simultaneously
a transmitter and a receiver.
