Hello all,

I¹d like to introduce you to a free music software program I developed with
a friend. It generates streams of MIDI data based on the pitch, rhythmic,
and dynamic information the user puts into various columns. The program
combines the information in these columns according to various simple
algorithms, including random and sequential.

Output may be exported as a standard MIDI file and then imported into a
sequencing program (Logic, ProTools, etc.) and/or a music notation program
(Finale, Sibelius, etc.).

Advanced features include the possibility of multiple tracks, and the
creation of sets (of pitches, rhythms, or dynamics) which may then be placed
in the primary columns, or inside other sets.

The software is available for both Mac and PC, and may be downloaded from
the following site: www.universalmusicmachine.com
<http://www.universalmusicmachine.com>

I would be interested in hearing if any of you find the program useful, or
if you have any suggestions for further development.

Thanks,

Steve
