Hello friends,

I'm happy to announce that a soundscape of mine titled "Observatory Sounds"
has been included in Loud5 a New York based sound magazine that covers a
broad spectrum of sound art, field recordings, sound poetry, and
compositions. The piece was originally designed to accompany a Barbara
Westermann sculpture but has become very much an entity on its own of late.
All the work in this issue of Loud5 is excellent and I encourage you to pick
up a copy if you can. You can hear "Observatory Sounds" at

cheers!

About loud 5:

http://loud5.com/

LOUD5 is a New York-based, seasonal aural magazine. Each issue features
tracks generated by different contributors and a limited-edition screen
print on the cover.

Issue One features fifteen tracks by artists from New York, Providence,
Montreal, California and Paris. The cover is a selection from the
"L-Systems" series by Zach Layton. Issue One is a hand-numbered, 300-edition
run. LOUD5 wants to be a publication that challenges the concepts of aural
matter and sound art.

We will aim to publish new works, emerging artists, and pieces that are
evidence of underground culture in urban areas. LOUD5 is a spoken poem,
conversation or song. It is static, silence, breath or noise.
