To celebrate the beginning of our fifth year of releases, long-time 
Stasisfield contributor Jim Schoenecker has enlisted fellow 
Milwaukeean (and bandmate in Collections of Colonies of Bees) Chris 
Rosenau, as well as Minneapolis composer Thomas Wincek (aka Emotional 
Joystick) to concoct a glowing paean for scotch whiskey. From its 
sombre pastoral tones to its Solomon's Proverbs-derived title, this 
quarter hour piece revels in a rich, robust musical stupor of 
processed guitars and other electronics - a mellow malt for your 
sonic snifter.
