More information and tickets patternsandpleasure.com

STEIM is proud to be organizing the Patterns + Pleasure Festival on 26, 27 and 28 September at Frascati Amsterdam. A three-day festival presenting the latest and most adventurous contemporary electronic music from today.

There will be lectures, workshops, debates and performances by musicians and sound artists from the Netherlands and abroad. The symposium program brings together internationally renowned artists, writers, and scholars from diverse fields to discuss new directions in music making. Invited artists come with their own take on DIY synthesizers and controllers, live instrumental hip-hop, heavy machine doom music, biofeedback-Tuvan singing, and boogie-woogie noise. Many of the performers and pieces will be seen in the Netherlands for the first time. Be ready to be surprised, provoked and, inspired at the Patterns + Pleasure Festival 2011.

It's been 17 years since the last STEIM festival in Amsterdam, and we're working hard to make this one a festival to remember.
