[microsound] FB redux

(Sorry, this !@#$ phone)
It is true that Facebook, as of more recently, has been a more effective
platform for me in both discovering new music that interests me, as well as
providing a forum for my ideas that seems to generate more immediate
feedback, albeit without any real intellectual and honest discussion (where
on .microsound there is some).
However, in the past, I found quite a lot of interesting and wonderful
music sifting through the various projects that .microsound has hosted -
pi, bufferfuct, etc. - and it was very stimulating to be a part of them as
well. This is where I feel lies the true benefit of .microsound, as it
brings people together for a mass collaboration while at the same time
leaving a nice little archived legacy for others to discover.
I know that .microsound projects don't always yield a descent turnout of
participants, but when they do, it is so worth it!
So, please keep the projects coming...you never know if we may have
something that will be as substantial and successful as, say, the
'parasite' project was - a great collection of material there, to be sure.
Sincerely,
Dan
