[microsound] Producing 15 Hz - 20 Hz with digital equipment?

Hi,
as a long time lurker on your list- I thought it was about time I posted.

I am doing a project that may need producing low frequency sounds between
15 and 20 Hz. The exact details are not resolved yet but on my preliminary
research on making this possible, it seems not so easy to do this cheaply.

Beyond building a massive horn or organ I have not found anything reliable
that could do a good job in creating these sounds. Does anybody know how I
can do this cheaply and effectively with digital equipment?
