[microsound] Re : musical structure

I tend to store musical gestures, fragments, I have evolved or
composed over the years which I can then pick out at a given moment.
It is a dictionary, lexicon of sounds with a particular sound
identity, which is me I suppose. I go for particular types of sounds
and articulations I go for textures and sounds which are microsonic in
nature, though they could be derived from traditional instruments and
articulations aswell

Most of the cells come from working with previous technologies
starting with an old dusty Yamaha CX5M, now transferred to newer
machines, my Macbook and Nord G2 for example. But the cells, basis of
the work are re-used in what I consider to be the aural context at the
moment. The only thing that I have to do with this approach is to make
sure the data decay doesn;t go to far, as on occasions I have had to
write special programs to retrieve from one data format to another.
