[microsound] lloopp on laptops / ibook

dear all

hi i recently got lloopp working on my g4 quicksilver. its great, but i would also like to use it in a more portable way, so i tried installing on my ibook (10.3.9, 384mb, 800mhz powerpc) but to no avail: it kind of appeared but half the buttons on the host module didnt come up and it was unresponsive. 

other people seem to be having this problem with newer powerbooks, ie g4's running 10.4.11. Klaus from the lloopp list suggested to me a reinstall of javascript but i dont really know what this is, or where to go to get it. 

has anyone on the list got lloopp (and max) on their ibook, or similar please? could do with some help here.
