It's a chance to offer interested people this form of music in a hopefully good way. After an invitation to join the series as collaborators, Julian Bonequi and <a href="http://auditionrecords.com">Audition Records</a> will support these series as promoters and associated curators.</p>

<strong><a href="http://okkyung.wordpress.com/" target="blank" style="outline-width:0px;outline-style:initial;outline-color:initial;color:rgb(51,102,51);text-decoration:none">Okkyung Lee</a></strong> native of Korea, has been developing her own voice in a contemporary cello performance, improvisation and composition. With her solid classical training as a foundation, she incorporates jazz, sounds, korean traditional music, and noise with extended techniques to create her unique blend of music. Since moving to New York in 2000, she has performed and recorded with numerous artists such as Laurie Anderson, Carla Bozulich, John Butcher, Thurston Moore, Ikue Mori, “Butch” Morris, Evan Parker, Wadada Leo Smith, a John Zorn to name a few.</p>

<p style="color:rgb(51,51,0);font-family:georgia,times,serif;font-size:12px"><strong>Nils Ostendorf</strong> was born 1977 in Hamburg.Nils has developed a very individual approach on his instrument, exploring the wide range between notes and noise by generating frequencies using an extended embouchure technique, different mutes or vibrating surfaces. He is influenced by natural sounds, contemporary music and electronic music. Nils is active in various settings of improvised music, beside “The Silencers” in a Duo with saxophone player Michel Doneda, in the duo “Trigger” with Matthias Müller, a trio with pianist Philip Zoubek and reed player Philippe Lauzier and in duo with Kim Myhr and changing guests.</p>

<strong>Morten J. Olsen </strong>drums, percussion, electronics, composition, recordings. Currently lives in Berlin. He was born in Stavanger, Norway.
