</span><i>IN:OUT</i> brings different acoustic spaces together and explores the ways in which they correlate and antagonise each other in the same auditory nexus.<br>
Engaged in an ubiquitous interlocking, several streams of information move IN and OUT of focus, territorialise and deterritorialise respectively (in a Deleuze-Guattari fashion), to immerse the listener in a multi-level listening experience.<span class="s16"><br>
</span>This version was recorded the November 26th 2010, during rehearsals in the A.S. Rymer Auditorium, Music Research Centre - York, and decoded to Quad especially for REDUCTIVE Music the November of 2011.<span class="s16"><br>
</span>The auditorium’s in-house 16-speaker 3d ambisonics rig was used (Waferdales and Tanoys), as well as 5 additional genelec 1037C loudspeakers, a genelec 7070B subwoofer, a macbook pro laptop running custom software, a motu ultralite mk2 and a focusrite saffire pro26 audio interfaces, an Alesis A-DAT AI3, a soundfield ST-250 ambisonics microphone and an edirol R-4 solid state recorder.</p>
