Hello,

next tuesday, 20th September, will be the next meeting of Pure Data users
in Berlin at NK (http://www.nkprojekt.de/) - Elsenstr. 52, 2HH 2Etage.

For more information, look up
http://puredata.info/community/organization/pd-berlin/pd-berlin-users-group.
We also encourage you to take an active part, and put up suggestions for
topics you want to talk about / topics you want to be talked about.

Pd-Berlin Google group: You can join the open group
http://groups.google.com/group/pd_berlin, and make questions to the users
there.

Doors are open from 20h-20h15. After that they'll be closed, and you will
have to call someone from the Pd-meeting to get in. To get a telephone
number to call or confirm assistance you can write to
info_at_minitronics.net.

Please, don?t call to the staff of NK to open the doors. They let us use
the space but we have to take care about having the meeting without
producing any disturbance to them, and to clean the space after the
meeting.

We would apreciate if you would send us a small mail to
info_at_minitronics.net with your name, Pd experience and interests, so
that we know how many people might be coming. Or put your name in the
pd-berlin wiki page.

We would like to thank the support and willingness of NK in the
organization of these events.

Hi Microsound list,
I'm happy to tell you that a new release from Beth Kleist ? the longtime project together with Teamforest ? is now available as a free download and as a tape.
The digital version was released on the amazing Distance Recording label and can be downloaded here for free as an MP3 or FLAC:
http://distancerecordings.com/dist024

The album is also available as a high quality, professionally duplicated tape ? released on Teamforest's new label Tarkovsky Green (http://tarkovskygreen.com/). It looks (and of course, sounds) absolutely gorgeous.
To get a tape just drop me an email. The tape is available for 7 Euro in Europe and 9 Euro worldwide (postage included).

Here's the inevitable promo blurb:

"Recorded in a makeshift lakeside studio last summer, Beth Kleist's Drei is the sometimes psychedelic, sometimes pastoral third album from Nils Quak and Philipp B?ckle. The album haunts and teases its way through sixteen pieces of mostly guitar, percussion, and electronics without settling long into an idiom before leaping headlong into a new idea. Lovers of kraut rock, post-spectral drone, twee electronica, and especially postrock in all of its shifting facets will find pockets of bliss in Drei.
Drei is an eerie trip through the misty haze between folk, drone and lo-fi recordings. It is a journey back to the records of our youth, those innocent yet murderous pieces that kept us awake at night and alive at day. Imperfect, murky songs that meant the world to us. Drei is a celebration of those moments. It is a melancholic reflection that vividly recalls the days, when tape music was not the new hip thing."

Take care,
Nils
