School Of Meat Cutting<br><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><br>Friday 26th August 12:00 – 18:00<br><div>nnnnn, Unit 73a, Regent Studios, 8 Andrews Road, London, E8 4QN<br>http://nnnnn.org.uk/<br><br>A workshop in low life circuit bending, blasting, and building. Using the<br>circuits from various electronic detritus and building your own circuitry,<br>you will learn to create and construct your own psychotic synthesisers and<br>noise machines.<br> <br>These will then be used to bind together various bits of meat and flesh<br>(such as sheep heads, beef heart, cow eyes, brains, skulls, etc.) to<br>create a some kind of deformed mutant meat machine. Through integrating<br>the dead flesh with electricity and electronic components, the lifeless<br>meat will, in a way, reanimate.<br> <br>The basic idea is for everyone to work together to create some kind of<br>mutant sculpture which will form the center piece for the evenings<br>performance event.<br> <br>By the end of the workshop you will have learnt how to circuit bend,<br>blast, and build; rewire basic electronics; build noise machines with<br>555's, CMOS chips and op-amps; integrate unconventional, everyday objects<br>into your circuits; be adept at soldering; learn how to saw through bone<br>and molest rotten flesh.
