<div>"READ ME A POEM, YI SANG!" is an installation that is part of an exhibition and series of events in Paris and Seoul by a group of Korean and French artists inspired by the work of the enigmatic Korean poet Yi Sang ( 1910-1937, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yi_Sang )</div><div><br></div><div>In a small transparent suitcase there is an audio cassette, which contains a copy of a one hour sound composition based on my reading of French and English translations of Yi Sang's poems.</div><div><br></div><div>You are invited to send by email a photo (or image, drawing...) you made or some words that you wrote during/after your visit of the exhibition (or otherwise 'inspired' by Yi Sang) to readmeapoemyisang@gmail.com</div><div><br></div><div>At the end of the Yi Sang project, in september/october 2010, if there have been N contributions, you will receive by email 3600/N seconds of the sound piece as an mp3 file.</div><div><br></div><div>Thus being - literally - cut up, the original sound file disappears.</div><div><br></div><div>Each of the N contributions that were sent by email points to one of its N, randomly distributed, parts. Together these form an image of the piece that no longer exists, like a translation.
