Traversing the dank, dark interior of the complex they make their way all the way to the large set of domes atop the buildings. The wind whipping at the torn skins of the geodesic domes. It begins to rain. The trio gets to work, recording the wind and rain through the domes as well as using the domes acoustic properties to process sounds made with hand held cracked electronics. Later in the KGB studio the trio work at processing and layering the dome recordings with live improvisations inspired by the dome recordings. The result it a disjointed temporal documentation of the morphogentic field recordings of a Cold War spy station. </font></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; font: normal normal normal 14px/normal Helvetica; min-height: 17px; "><br></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; "><font face="Helvetica" size="4" style="font: 14.0px Helvetica"><u><b>KGB trio info:</b></u></font></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; font: normal normal normal 16px/normal Helvetica; min-height: 19px; "><br></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; "><font face="Helvetica" size="3" style="font: 12.0px Helvetica">Founded in 2004, KGB makes music using digital, electrical and acoustic instruments, creating music incorporating field recordings and processing, and performs as a trio and with an orchestra of improvising musicians.
