It was commissioned by the festival Sensxperiment, held these days in Lucena-Córdoba (Spain).</div><div>Its content is mainly aimed to the Spanish speaker community, but the info pages are bilingual and there is an automatic translator for the posts installed on the site. In addition, it contains a call for collaboration for a database of resources we are elaborating (by now focused on Latin America-Portugal-Spain areas), therefore we will be grateful for the diffusion of this info to anybody potentially interested. </div><div><br></div><div><a href="http://www.mediateletipos-retrospecta.net/">http://www.mediateletipos-retrospecta.net/</a></div><div><br></div><div><div>**************************************************************************************************************************************************************************</div><div><br></div></div><div><div><b>../mediateletipos-retrospecta.net )))</b> is a project by mediateletipos on the occasion of Sensxperiment, held in Lucena and Córdoba (Spain) in October 2008. This edition is entitled Retrospecta and its leitmotif is to review symbolically the last ten years of artistic creation in Spain, paying special attention to sound art, one main interest of the festival during its trajectory. Therefore, Sensxperiment has invited other festivals and projects to include several proposals of their election, that together conform this year’s programme.</div></div><div><br></div><div>Following the invitation to participate, we decided to create an archive with all the news related to the Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American scenes published on mediateletipos. Therefore, it has been launched a new web containing all those posts (about two thousand, approximately half of the published total until now). This material has been reviewed and classified into several categories, with the addition of many descriptive tags that simplify and enhance its navigation.</div><div><br></div><div>Besides using this opportunity to look back, we want to carry on working with our ears in the future. From that intention arises what constitutes the second part of this project: a list of resources related to sound that gathers information already appeared on the web (bibliography, forums, collectives, radio, festivals, institutions, schools, labels, publications, etc.).</div><div><br></div><div>At present, this section is hosted in this site and will be developed during next year with a regular expansion of the list. Furthermore, a call for collaboration has been launched, through which we hope to receive new references to add and so, with the participation of all, increase its comprehensiveness, diversity and public utility. We would like that this list of resources were the germ of an online database, dynamic and navigable, with specific information about each element, which would be included in future versions of the community artesonoro.org.</div><div><br></div><div>With this line of work we intend to continue the task already started by research and diffusion projects like the web Arte Sonoro edited at the Fine Arts University of Cuenca (Spain); the Sonoscop´s sound art archive; the newsletters and forums hosted at modisti.com; the international project [un]common sounds; or the book La mosca tras la oreja. De la música experimental al Arte Sonoro by Llorenç Barber and Montserrat Palacios, that will be released also in this edition of the festival. Esta edición lleva por título Retrospecta y su leitmotiv es hacer un repaso simbólico a los últimos diez años de creación artística en España, con especial atención al arte sonoro, uno de los principales intereses del festival durante su trayectoria. Para ello, en un acto de generosidad, Sensxperiment ha invitado a otros festivales y proyectos a incluir varias propuestas de su elección, que unidas conforman la programación de este año.</div><div><br></div><div>Tras recibir la invitación a participar, decidimos crear un archivo con todas las noticias referentes a la escena española, portuguesa y latinoamericana publicadas en mediateletipos. Para ello se ha puesto en marcha esta nueva web en la que se agrupan todos esos posts (unos dos mil, aproximadamente la mitad del total publicado hasta ahora). Este material ha sido revisado y clasificado en categorías, y se le han añadido numerosos tags descriptivos para facilitar y hacer más dinámica su consulta.</div><div><br></div><div>Además de aprovechar esta colaboración para volver la vista atrás, queremos seguir trabajando con las orejas puestas en el futuro. De esa intención surge lo que constituye la segunda parte del proyecto presentado: una lista de recursos en castellano relacionados con lo sonoro que incluye información ya aparecida en la web (bibliografía, foros, colectivos, radios, festivales, instituciones, centros, sellos, publicaciones, etc.).</div><div><br></div><div>Esta sección se alojará por ahora en esta web y se desarrollará durante el año que viene con una ampliación regular de los listados. Asimismo, se lanza con el proyecto una llamada a la colaboración, a través de la cual esperamos recibir nuevas referencias que añadir y así, con la participación de todos, aumentar su exhaustividad, diversidad y utilidad pública. Nos gustaría que esta lista de recursos fuera el germen de una base de datos online, dinámica y navegable, con información específica sobre cada elemento, que sería incluida en futuras versiones de la comunidad artesonoro.org.</div><div><br></div><div>Con esta línea de trabajo pretendemos continuar con la labor ya iniciada por proyectos de investigación y difusión como la web Arte Sonoro editada desde la Facultad de BB.AA. de Cuenca; el archivo de arte sonoro Sonoscop; las listas de correo y el archivo de modisti.com; el proyecto internacional [un]common sounds o el libro La mosca tras la oreja. De la música experimental al Arte Sonoro, de Llorenç Barber y Montserrat Palacios, que se presenta también en esta edición del festival.
