Hi Everyone! It's been a while since the PiNG has presented a show in
a nice comfy bar with good food and fine beers (Nia at C'est What?!!) -
so I've booked 3 terrific sound-artists to create the scapes & grooves
for a Tuesday night at the Central in the Annex. Located right beside
Honest Ed's and Suspect Video at 603 Markham St, the Central has
all of the above + an intimate main-space to immerse yourself in the
performances + a connected room to reconnect with your friends
at the PiNG + a sweet patio out front for smoking and chilling.
Mark June 24th on your calendars now - we're really looking forward
to seeing everybody again! ~ Cheers, Scott M2
ping things is proud to present its second net label release!
"The Perfect City" by Phil Ogison (ptnr002) is a sparkling
collection of music that captures the essence of the metropolitan
ideal, painting an aural picture of a bright future in a utopian
lifestyle. A fine example of melodic ambience, "The Perfect City"
is a stunning disc from start to finish. Phil's guitar work throughout
is a study in ambient beauty, emotive fretwork that is by turns
elated, pensive, mournful and more.

"The Perfect City" by Phil Ogison is available for free download
from http://www.pingthings.com/PTlabel.htm as a 104Mb Zip file
