Stillness of night.<BR>Breaking of glass.<BR>Strumming on guitar
strings.<BR>Gently sliding your fingers. <BR><BR>Snap, cackle and minute
pop.<BR>Reverse tape on repeat.<BR>Humming of environment.<BR>What's more, it
tickles the brain. <BR><BR>Floating in mid air.<BR>Nothing is moving and
all is well.<BR>You whispered something to me last night<BR>But I can't recall
the meaning or sense of it all. <BR><BR>If I could turn myself into an
ear,<BR>I'd prefer to listen to these Volume Objects<BR>with an open mind.<BR>As
part-melodies come and then disappear. <BR><BR>One wonders where beauty
begins and <BR>ugliness ends.<BR>Does an image of an abandoned
shed<BR>surrounded by snow mean much to you? <BR><BR>All I recall are the
black and white photographs,<BR>Gently wrecked by lack of memory and what came
