We’ll look at some of the real-time processing techniques available in Max/MSP, such as sampling, playback, and effects processing. After a brief look into a few advanced patches showing the possibilities of the software, we’ll concentrate on step-by-step building of audio patches in order to provide a concrete path to thinking and working in the Max environment.<br><br><ul><li><strong>Dates:</strong><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Sunday January 27, 2008<br>10:00am-6:00pm (~7 classroom hours)</li><li><strong>Instructor:</strong>Michelle Irving (<a href="http://www.richmediainstitute.com/faculty/irving/">about</a>)</li><li><strong>Price:</strong><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>$49</li><li><strong>Location:</strong><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Rich Media Institute - Toronto - 156 Augusta Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, M5T 2L5 (<a href="http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=156+Augusta+Avenue,+Toronto,+Ontario,+M5T+2L5&sll=36.597889,-93.427734&sspn=39.143864,67.675781&ie=UTF8&ll=43.646386,-79.394503&spn=0.041364,0.090036&z=14&om=1" target="_blank">map</a>)</li></ul>There's a 10% discount available just email me <a href="mailto:mai@sfu.ca">mai@sfu.ca</a><br><br>You can register online <a href="http://www.richmediainstitute.com/training/max_intro/">http://www.richmediainstitute.com/training/max_intro/</a><br><br>best<br>Granny'ark<br><br><br><hr><a href="" target="_new"></a></span></blockquote></div><br></div></body></html>
