</FONT></SPAN><FONT SIZE="4"><FONT FACE="Verdana, Helvetica, Arial"><SPAN STYLE='font-size:13.0px'><B>Fourcolor </B>is the alias of 31 year old Japanese artist <B>Keiichi Sugimoto</B>. He began performing as Fourcolor in 1998 and has released on labels such as <B>12k</B> and <B>Apestaartje</B>. Four Color has performed with artists such as Mitchell Akiyama, Christophe Charles, Waki, Ogurusu Norihide, World's End Girlfriend, and Oren Ambarchi.<BR>
<BR>
In 1999 Keiichi formed the group <B>Minamo</B> and in 2002 he formed <B>Fonica</B>. Both groups are still active and garner large critical acclaim around the world. They have released albums on 12k, Apestaartje and been featured in the Bip_Hop Generation compilations.<BR>
<BR>
And as if that isn’t enough, Keiichi runs the label <B>Cubic Music</B>.<BR>
<BR>
<I>Fourcolor is the sound of water trickling over the rocks of a stream. Soft guitar tones are combined with tiny crackles that captivate and delight.<BR>

Fourcolor will be joined by Melbourne artists Qua (Surgery records, Headz) and Post (Preservation).<BR>
<BR>
Cyclic Defrost said of Qua’s most recent release, ‘Painting Monsters On Clouds’: “Qua’s developed a fine sensibility to his work, an understanding of the way that melody, rhythm and texture can be used in creative ways to illustrate a theme or feeling. Tracks…have an amazingly visual quality to them”<BR>

It will be <B>James Wilkinson</B>’s first performance under his new <B>Post</B> project so treat him nicely. James will be familiar to many of you as the trombone player in <B>High Pass Filter</B> and <B>Bucketrider</B>, as well as setting the world on fire with his group <B>Snuff Puppets</B>.<BR>
