<B>Pushing the Medium #2</B> é um simpósio com a duração de 10 dias, a realizar em <BR>
Nodar, uma pequena comunidade rural situada no norte de Portugal, que <BR>
apresenta o desafio a vários criadores nacionais e internacionais de <BR>
desenvolver projectos ‘site-specific’. O evento proporciona ainda debates, <BR>
workshops, instalações e performances. O foco desta iniciativa será o lugar <BR>
ele mesmo: Nodar. Esta segunda edição do simpósio é um convite para aproximar a <BR>
prática e a reflexão artística contemporânea ao espaço rural, <BR>
contribuindo para a valorização do espaço comunitário de Nodar e <BR>
entendendo o desenvolvimento cultural em zonas rurais como questão <BR>
fundamental e emergente. ///<BR>
<BR>
<B>Pushing the Medium #2</B> is a ten day symposium located in Nodar, a small rural <BR>
community in the north of Portugal, presenting a unique challenge to <BR>
international and national artists to develop site-specific projects. It <BR>
will feature discussions, workshops and presentations focusing on the <BR>
context and location of Nodar itself. This second edition of the symposium <BR>
is an invitation to bring the contemporary artistic practice and reflection <BR>
closer to the rural space, contributing to the valorization of the <BR>
communitary space of Nodar and understanding the cultural development of <BR>
rural areas as a fundamental and emerging issue.<BR>
