<div>entr'acte (2006) is a loose concept-ep inspired by time
perception theories done with the help of a vintage commodore C64
(8580-SID-chip) and some time-stretching algorythms. this reduced
equipment allows entr'acte to concentrate on what warten intends to
do: making uncompromisingly minimal music.</div>

<div>warten (german for "waiting") was founded 1997 by
oliver diedrich and susanne winterling as zweiwarten. after
zweiwarten's splitting in 2000, oliver diedrich went on solo as
warten. he founded one of the first mp3-labels dedicated to
experimental electronica,<i> siebter.de</i> (2001-03). under the
moniker of warten, he pursues the vision of a straightforward
minimalism influenced by the likes of pan sonic, (early) cabaret
voltaire, jeff mills etc. but with a distinctive personal touch.</div>
