Electroacoustic Listening Room Project (WEALR) features daylong
non-stop playback of works by women composers throughout the globe in
electroacoustic music. The Listening Room strives to present a diverse
sampling of different approaches to electronic music by women
composers and serves as a space for collective reflection. As part of
this day, Pamela Madsen, creator of the Listening Room in California,
USA, will discuss the concept, history of WEALR, significant
composers, and issues of women in music technology.<br>
