Alejandra Pérez nació en Santiago de Chile en el año 1972. Estudió las licenciaturas de Psicología y Estética en la P. Universidad Católica de Chile. Su trayectoria es nómada. A través de la mezcla de diferentes disciplinas como el arte sonoro, el audiovisual, la curatoría de arte y la educación con nuevos medios, aborda su principal interés, la vida en la ciudad. Desde el 2001 realiza el proyecto de arte sonoro "El pueblo de China".
