patreon campaign progress report:
114 patrons (down from 117)
60% towards our goal (down from 61%)
want to help? http://www.patreon.com/frameworkradio

a sparser mix this week, at least relatively. 15 individual pieces in
the show - as opposed to over 20 in our last several regular editions -
coming to us from canada, the united states, the united kingdom,
belgium, croatia, france and rwanda. winter is settling in here, so
perhaps the mixes are becoming more wintry. we've got sounds of
demolition, aeolian harps, water, wind, frogs and plenty more.

a few more shows coming to you before our annual winter break. one more
framework:afield next week (#826), and a final regular edition in two
weeks time (#827) before we hunker down for a little hibernation. we'll
come back to you with edition #828, premiering on january 15th (not
january 9th, as i mistakenly said in the show), and soon after that we
hope to be able to announce the first issue of framework:seasonal, our
fund-raising compilation series, since #11 in the spring of 2020. stay
tuned for more info about that!

you may notice above that our patreon campaign has lost a little
traction over the past few months - we finally broke the 60% threshold
(that's 60% of our funding goal, averaged out monthly), but weren't able
to hold on. it always gets a little trickier during our broadcasting
breaks - it's easy to forget us if we're not making so much noise. but
if you're wondering what you can get us for christmas, well, that's
easy: sign up to support the program, with a commitment of as little as
€1, $1, or £1 per month. it seems like nothing, because it almost is!
but it's really a great help to the program, especially if enough of you
do it. go on over to http://www.patreon.com/frameworkradio and bring
some holiday cheer!

oh yes, one last thing: i put out an intro challenge in this show - i'd
like a winter/holiday themed framework introduction to start off our
final edition for 2022, so get out there and record one! visit santacon,
go hang out in the reindeer stables, bury yourself in the snow with a
hydrophone, go on out and record a holiday intro and send it to us by
the end of this week, and the best one will start off edition #827 (i'm
sure we'll use all the other ones early next year as well). "ho ho ho!
welcome to framework!" introduction recording guidelines here:

https://frameworkradio.net/intros/

again, we are always looking for new material, whether raw field
recordings, field recording based composition, or introduction
submissions. we are also now accepting proposals for full editions of
our guest curated framework:afield series. send proposals or material,
released or not, on any format, to the address at the bottom of this
mail. if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
