we're in a hectic period of paint scraping as we renovate old
floorboards to be installed in the future framework HQ, so we're a
little late getting this playlist out. but we think this show sounds
good and we think you will too - it's got the first full-length release
from moltamole featured on the show; we're pleased to hear an
unfathomless release from our friend masayuki imanishi, who featured
back on issue #7 of framework:seasonal; also the latest, and maybe our
favorite to date, release by viv corringham; and two new names (for us),
in collaboration, katharina schmidt & fahmi mursyid. also an intro by
martin bainbridge, a new work inspired (we're told) by slavek kwi's
recent edition of framework:afield, and a mix of dawn chorus recordings
by karsten köhler (the individual recordings can be heard via the link
in the playlist below):

"...a synchronous mix of Dawn Chorus field recordings from different
parts of Europe that were all recorded at the same time on 3rd May 2020
at: 5:06 - 5:22 Greenwich Summer Time, or at the same time local time.
The tracks are are also mixed together in a synchronised way. This mix
ends a few minutes before the local sunrise (at 5:25 in Cambridge, where
I did the recordings), and it is therefore called "Before Sunrise". I
have panned the mix so that the birds from the East of Europe can be
heard on the right, and those from the West on the left earphone/speaker."

again, we are always looking for new material, whether raw field
recordings, field recording based composition, or introduction
submissions. we are also now accepting proposals for full editions of
our guest curated framework:afield series. send proposals or material,
released or not, on any format, to the address at the bottom of this
mail. if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
