saturday, july 18th was the 6th annual world listening day, this year
featuring h2o as its theme, watery sounds for your listening pleasure
from around the world. as in past years, our good friends at the aporee
soundmaps created a specific world listening day map, featuring on-theme
recordings all recorded on july 18th, 2015 from estonian to america to
australia:

in celebration of this event, we have dedicated this edition of
framework to WLD2015:H2O, and made an exclusive mix of sounds from this
year's world listening day aporee soundmap, all featuring the watery
theme, and all recorded on july 18th, 2015. hope you enjoy the sounds!
meanwhile, we have one more show, an edition of framework:afield
produced my regular contributor martin clarke, coming up next week
before we take our annual summer break. we'll be off from august 3rd
through september 12th inclusive, returning with the premier of
framework #524 on sunday, september 13th at it's usual time of 11pm. in
the meantime, there are upwards of 350 shows archived on the framework
website, dating back to 2007, so this will give you some time to catch up!
again, we are always looking for new material, whether raw field
recordings, field recording based composition, or introduction
submissions. we are also now accepting proposals for full editions of
our guest curated framework:afield series. send proposals or material,
released or not, on any format, to the address at the bottom of this
