[Composition 00054 is in ten parts, with a base element that repeats for all of the sections. This main sonic element is a thirty-two-bar drone and is overlaid with a ‘mirror’ sound after sixteen bars. After each sound-group event there is sixteen bars of silence. All of the sounds were made using FM synthesis, plus effects plug-ins to create distortion and harmonics.  There are occasional moments of ‘harmony’, but this is more the accident of the sound design than a conscious compositional decision.]
