"LIVE CODE EXPRESSION"

In Pure Data, the DSP [expr~] is often used to modulate the audio
signal. During this /dev/art/, Chun Lee will be demonstrating an
alternative approach, using the DSP to sequence his music and generate
sounds.

About Chun Lee

Chun Lee is a Taiwanese sound artist currently based in London. With a
background in classical music, he became increasingly drawn into
contemporary music and electronic arts. This fascination with modern
technologies brought him to study Sonic Arts at Middlesex University,
where he is now finalizing his Phd.

His discovery of Free Software led him to base his work on Puredata - a
real-time graphical programming environment for audio, video, and
graphical processing.

He is also an active member of goto10 and Openlab - two international
collaborations of digital artists. Chun has appeared in a number of
places - from academic conferences, to festivals, local
meetings/presentations, gigs and squat parties.
