The Comunidad Electroacústica de Chile, CECh, in the searching of developing a wider and wiser support on the 
creation of music not only national but international, it has decided to stablish a contest. This contest has been running since 2010, and it's 
called the "Gustavo Becerra Schmidt Latinamerican Electroacoustic and Electronic Composition Contest", in honour to the dear master and honorary member of our community who recently passed away this January 2010.

The pieces given in this album are the winners at the First and Second "Gustavo Becerra Schmidt Latinamerican Electroacoustic and Electronic Composition Contest" during years 2010 and 2011respectively.

La Comunidad Electroacústica de Chile, CECh, en una búsqueda por ampliar el apoyo a la creación musical, no sólo 
nacional sino también internacional, ha decidido establecer desde el año 2010 el "Concurso Latinoamericano de Composición Electroacústica y Electrónica Gustavo Becerra Schmidt", en homenaje al querido maestro, miembro de honor de nuestra comunidad y fallecido recientemente, en enero de 2010.

Las obras presentes en este disco corresponden a las obras ganadoras del Primer y Segundo "Concurso Latinoamericano de Composición Electroacústica Gustavo Becerra Schmidt", correspondientes a los años 2010 y 2011 respectivamente
