thanks for the responses so far, i would just
like to clarify a couple of things.

i am interested in articles, not books!

i would like to hear what you think the SEMINAL
and SINGULAR (where possible) article that
defines the historical, socio-political,
stylistic essence (or at least a specific portion
of this essence) of a particular "category". and
again, preferably recent. examples might be:

plunderphonics: john oswald - Plunderphonics, or
Audio Piracy as a Compositional Prerogative
<http://plunderphonics.com> (section "p")
circuit bending: reed ghazala - art of circuit
bending
<http://www.anti-theory.com/soundart/circuitbend>

cheers,
jef

plunderphonics: john oswald - Plunderphonics, or
Audio Piracy as a Compositional Prerogative
<http://plunderphonics.com> (section "p")
circuit bending: reed ghazala - art of circuit
bending
<http://www.anti-theory.com/soundart/circuitbend>

merci,
jef
