Dedicated to new currents in electronic music and to the various  
mutations of digital creation, the 8th edition of the MUTEK festival  
will take place in Montreal from May 30th to June 3rd inclusively.


AN IMPORTANT INTERNATIONAL PARTNER
The MUTEK team is particularly pleased to announce that FLASHER.COM,  
a festival partner for the past two years, has raised their  
association to MUTEK's official PARTNER PRESENTER. A web-magazine  
with head offices in Berlin, FLASHER.COM specializes in presenting  
important talents from the contemporary cultural scene to the world  
stage. From Berlin to New York, from Montreal to Sao Paulo, London,

*** MUTEK ON THE ROAD ***

Over the past few years, MUTEK has expanded its role as an important  
promoter of electronic music and digital creativity outside Quebec,  
often taking its showcases directly to the international stage.  
Coming strong off its most recent successes in Washington DC - where  
the organization hosted the "Montreal Underground" showcase on  
February 24th to a capacity crowd at the Smithsonian (more than 200  
people were refused at the door!) - and in Rome on March 30th, as  
part of the MEET IN TOWN - Landing on Contemporary Soundscapes  
series, in the prestigious Parco della Musica Auditorium, MUTEK has a  
few more events unfolding this week.

APRIL, 5-6 : MUTEK @ Festival Paysages Electroniques - Lille (France)
Paysages Electroniques is an electronic music & visual arts festival.  
The third edition of the festival will take place this year from  
April, 5 to April, 8 2007. Paysages Electroniques aims at developing  
the general public's interest for electronic music and digital  
creation, and at giving visibility to new forms of cultural  
exchanges. MUTEK is proud to collaborate with this festival & present  
the two following events:

APRIL, 7 : MUTEK @ Point Éphémère - Paris (France)
Point Ephémère is a centre for artistic dynamics in the 10th  
arrondissement of Paris, in a former shop of construction materials  
Point P on the Canal St Martin. It hosts MUTEK for the first time.
