Hi folks,

Kicked off the show last week with a look at the work of Skist. They will be
playing in Melbourne tonight as part of their first Australian tour. It is
great to see them back with a new record, 'Taking Something Somewhere'
(Polarity) and I hope that those of you in Melbourne can get down to see
them.

A mixed bag after Skist with the debut album by Post (Melbourne artist James
Wilkinson from Bucketrider & High Pass Filter), out through the Preservation
label. Continued with a mash of field recordings and tonal works, revisiting
some old pieces that haven't been played in a while (Deadbeat, Autre
Direction's "The Noise And The City" comp).

On the show tonight:

4th October 2006: A look at the new releases that have been jumping across
the Symbiosis desk this last month, as well as new ones for the net labels
Conv and Stasisfield.

Have a great week,

Simon.

Symbiosis Playlist - 27th September 2006

Skist (Japan) are the the husband and wife duo of Samm Bennett and Haruna
Ito. I had a chat with them recently, on the phone from their home in Tokyo.
They're launching their new record 'Taking Something Somewhere' (Polarity)
and touring Australia for the first time. Skist play on Wednesday 4th
October at the East Brunswick Club.
