framework - phonography/field recording; contextual and decontextualized sound activity
presented by patrick mcginley

due to some technical difficulties in the studio, we aired a repeat program last friday - mnortham's 2005 end-of-year-report, which originally aired on 16.12.05. here's what we had to say back then:

mnortham presents an orogenetics-2005-travelogue, including voyages in
  aachen
  epesses
  lille
  indianapolis
  brussels
  innsbruck
  mt cheseau
  lofoten
and the sounds and music thereof and therein.

meanwhile, this friday (tonight!) sees our next edition of framework:afield, this one curated by american sound artist bill thompson, currently residing in aberdeen scotland. bill has created an edition for us using only phonography from phonographs! tune in if you can.

and finally: as i mentioned last week, as well as our sunday morning repeats on resonancefm, we re now streaming our latest edition for a full week after broadcast - click <<<stream the latest edition>>> from our website. also, i'm pleased to say that, thanks to a little help from john saylor (thanks john!) our podcast is now also up and running! it will be available for subscription as of tomorrow, once the week's streaming edition has been updated. click on <<<podcast>>> on our website, and copy the url into your podcasting program. let us know how it works, we're not exactly computer geniuses here at framework!

for both streaming and podcast, go to http://www.resonancefm.com/framework as of saturday, 03.06.06.

again, we are always looking for material for the show, whether raw field recordings, field recording based composition or introduction submissions. send material, released or not, on any format, to the address below. we are also hoping to have live performances as often as possible, so if you are in or passing through london please get in touch!
