and NYSAE member, EDMUND MOONEY, who recently
traveled with a guide to a butterfly sanctuary in
central Mexico to record the sounds of millions of
monarch butterflies that migrate to the area.  He will
be
presenting his detailed sound work as part of
multimedia artist,

Giant Ear))) is a two-hour radio show webcast the last
Sunday of every month on free103point9, a non-profit
media arts group based in Brooklyn and Acra, NY.  We
play interviews with sound artists and the local
public, and unedited or processed field recordings
(preferably under 20 minutes) from sound artists and
designers, but also from anyone who can get their
hands on a recording device and listen to the world
