framework - phonography/field recording; contextual and decontextualized sound activity
presented by patrick mcginley

great new sounds tonight; we heard most of the recent 4 artist release put out by heribert friedl's nonvisual objects label, new unreleased material from my fun, new works by john kannenberg and fabio orsi, and a long-awaited framework introduction from resonancefm's own tom wallace. our next edition will feature our first live studio performance of the year, when we receive a visit from bill thompson, whose recordings of wind whistling through the scaffolding of a building site are a recent framework favorite. if you're in london you can also catch him performing, along with several others, including yannick dauby, at goldsmith college's sound practice 2006 conference on saturday the 11th. concert begins at 1:30pm...

again, we are always looking for material for the show, whether raw field recordings, field recording based composition or introduction submissions. send material, released or not, on any format, to the address below. we are also hoping to have live performances as often as possible, so if you are in or passing through london please get in touch!
