framework - phonography/field recording; contextual and decontextualized sound activity
presented by patrick mcginley

this edition featured a live performance by local sound artist and long-time framework contributor adam wimbush. adam filled the resfm live studio with various cables and mixers and boxes and performed an improvisational set based on an extensive collection of field recordings - great stuff! we also heard new sounds from the alvars orkester and ronnie sundin, and some untreated field recordings from meri von kleinsmid and mark schreiber.

our next edition (broadcasting tonight!) will feature a studio visit from german sound artist and radio producer michael rüsenberg. michael will be bringing various new and old compositions with him and will talk to us a bit about his work.

again, we are always looking for material for the show, whether raw field recordings, field recording based composition or introduction submissions. send material, released or not, on any format, to the address below. we are also hoping to have live performances as often as possible, so if you are in or passing through london please get in touch!
